Six months ago, Viola’s husband swerved to miss a squirrel and ended up in a coma. For reasons she won’t explain, Viola can’t bring herself to visit him in the hospital. Though his family tries to be supportive, her decision is driving a wedge between Viola and her teen-aged daughter, who believes that one visit will bring her father back. A touching and surprisingly funny portrait of family, grief, and the bargains we make with fate. Contains some adult language and situations.
